The Dells are experiencing some family problems related to several issues. The family farm has been losing money in recent years and the Dells have been struggling financially. Suzie decided to take the part-time job at Wal-Mart to help pay the bills. The work sometimes leaves her feeling fatigued and disconnected. The family spends a significant amount of money every month for health insurance, cell phones, internet access and gasoline for vehicles. Neither she nor Bill have been spending much quality family time due to work and financial pressures. They argue a lot in front of the kids, which they realize is not a good practice. Suzie’s mom, Edna, worries about the health of her daughter’s marriage. She also worries about her grandchildren spending so much time unsupervised. Sometimes Edna picks the kids up after school or after practice to help out. Bill is dissatisfied with the amount of time he has been getting with Suzie and the lack of attention. He has started to reconnect with old high school friends on Facebook, including his recently divorced high school sweetheart.
